Returning team members: if you qualify for the team, you may use your warm up jacket from previous year. Purchase of a team warm-up, leotard, and shoes are required by participant. Competition schedules will be handed out as soon as dates and times are confirmed. A schedule for all classes will be handed out at the first class.

Synergy Park District Dance Competitive pom, + cheer teamsĭance Team classes, Pom, and Cheer will practice at the Kathy Green Multi-Purpose Center on Thursday Nights. This program is a stepping stone for preparing the participant to move up to Synergy Competitive Cheer & Dance Pom Team. Participants will begin to learn cheer & pom basics, such as motions, chants, cheers, jumps, and basic tumbling skills. Technique is the name of the game and we will zone in on that as well. You will be jumping and tumbling with some basic stunts.

Synergy Park District Team competes from January to April in the Illinois Park District Drill Conference. Payments are made in 2 installments September & December. Members are required to be enrolled for the entire season. Synergy Team 2020-21 season runs from Octothrough May 2021. This gives the more disciplined performer a way to study at a studio-quality level of instruction. The Competitive Team provides members with a unique opportunity to study, explore, and perform dance, pom, and cheer at a higher level of expectation. We recommend that your child starts with Synergy Beginner Cheer & Dance Poms, which is a non-competitive precursor to our competition team, Synergy Park District Dance Crew, which is an 8-month commitment. This is a great opportunity for your child to become a part of a team that will build his/her self-esteem and encourage him/her to be confident and outgoing. Synergy Competitive Dance, Pom and Cheer competes in the Illinois Park District Drill Conference Team Division.
